We’re half way through the season, yet Michele has not made either a friend nor an ally, but in doing so, she has also not made any enemies either. This week, she may well have to make some enemies. Her only somewhat useful offer for an alliance is Chima’s women’s alliance, which would leave her the opportunity to target the couple or the bully. Since Jessie’s gone, though, the easiest thing may be to just keep the momentum the way the producers have forced it to go.

Jeff says that Jessie and Natalie were walking to the finals unless somebody did something. Next time try winning a challenge for a change or maybe actually playing better if you feel that strongly about it.
Natalie assumes that Michele’s going to put her up. Chima is having difficulty believing that because Russell told her that she needs to be medicated and is just as bad as Ronnie said.
Russell wants to try to start over with Michele. That’ll last pretty much as long as she’s in power, and then he’ll flip out at her again.
The three girls who were crying over Jessie’s eviction open up his wine bottle. Kevin will just sit there and grin and bear it. Well, not so much grinning as rolling his eyes. Jeff, Jordan, and Russell want no part of this and eat outside. It is a little creepy.
Michele has decided she wants Chima to go home because she’s the biggest threat. To the guys. You’d have to be a complete idiot to think Chima’s a threat to the women. She wants Russell gone in the worst way, and she’s the one pushing the women’s alliance because she wants a woman to win. It’s entirely possible Michele is a complete idiot, though.
The contestants break into four teams of two for the have/have not competition: Jeff and Jordan, Michele and Russell, Natalie and Chima, and Lydia and Kevin. There you have basically the pairs of the house. Michele has essentially made it so she’s stuck with Russell at this point. Good luck to her. It’s a gross eating challenge in which they must correctly place casseroles in their correct locations. They will work together as a group to make sure they can all eat every day. Chima’s got a sour look on her face the whole time. In the middle of the challenge, she tells Russell not to look at her. They do not win food for Monday but do match for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They will be getting the BBQ grill and hot showers but no steak and lobster dinner.
Russell wants to know if Jordan likes Jeff as a boyfriend. If he lived in Charlotte, maybe. He proposes to her, and she says yes. In like 23 states, it’s pretty much official.
Natalie doesn’t think Michele would make an enemy in this house if Russell went home. She’s right. He has no real allies, and he’s attacked everybody at one point or another (then he apologizes when they get the power, and goes right back to attacking them the next weeek). On the other hand, if she targets either side, that whole side will now see her as a target, albeit perhaps less of a target than some other people.
It’s time for another stupid vote. The choices are cucumbers and carp, mince meat and marshmallows, and churros and chitlins. I’ve asked this before, and I’ll ask again: they actually pay people to come up with this stuff?
Michele says she’s basing her nominations on who would take her to the final two. Answer: nobody. Jeff and Jordan are taking each other, Natalie and Chima are taking each other, and Lydia and Kevin are taking each other. The only other lone wolf is Russell. She’s viewed merely as a vote, at best.

Natalie and Chima have been nominated for eviction. She sees Chima going to the final two but not taking her. Natalie’s the pawn. Chima doesn’t care any more. To be fair, she shouldn’t. She had things planned out exactly how she wanted, then the producers intentionally stacked the deck against her, kicking out her closest ally in the process.

You can only wave a camera at a man so many times before it gets on his nerves. Brad Pitt was spotted driving with his brother Doug in Los Angeles (perhaps he was in town for Maddox’s birthday) – spotted by X17Online, the same people that gave him a lift home last month and then attempted to all but interview him when he was in the car.
I guess that they were shouting and hollering his name as they tend to do to get his attention, and Brad finally had enough, giving X17 the finger.
I can totally cut him some slack; if people were screaming my name every time I left my home I’d probably have MANY days where I’d do the same thing. A finger isn’t as bad as getting physical or screaming obscenities in public at least!

She has an upbeat though very mature personality, taking the responsibility thrust upon her being trapped in Chicago with her charges very seriously. She is compassionate and friendly, though naive when it comes to meeting the “right guy.”
* Penelope Ann Miller as Brenda, Chris’ best friend, terrified while in the bus station. A little neurotic, Brenda runs away from home due to unspecified stress and becomes trapped in the bus station downtown, prompting Chris to come pick her up. She is persistent, edgy and positively, blind without her glasses, which are stolen early on.
* Bradley Whitford as Mike Todwell, Chris’ boyfriend who canceled their anniversary date for another girl. He is obnoxious, chauvinistic, and only after a girl who puts out easily. He is regarded as a jerk and once beat Daryl up under suspicion that he touched his Camaro. His license plate is well-known as reading “SO COOL.”
* Maia Brewton as Sara Anderson, an 8-year-old girl who idolizes Thor. She is the youngest and most impressionable, Brad going to lengths to keep her from being exposed to Daryl’s overtly sexual personality. Sara is best known for wearing her Thor helmet and carrying around a plastic hammer. She is fun-loving and caring and attempts to offer her helmet for payment of a car tire when the mechanic has an uncanny likeness to the famed god Thor.

American actress Kristin Davis has lost her ambassadorship for the humanitarian group Oxfam International, after she unknowingly waded into Middle East politics by joining Ahava.
Davis, 44, was suspended from any “publicity work” with Oxfam after she signed on in 2007 as a spokeswoman for Ahava cosmetics, which is produced beyond the Green Line.
According to Oxfam, Ahava creams, lotions and other goodies are manufactured in “disputed” territory, and the cosmetics company has a factory on Kibbutz Mitzpe Shalem, located beyond the Green Line on the Dead Sea coast.
“When Kristin signed the contract with Ahava she wasn’t aware of the controversy around settlement trade and Oxfam didn’t know she had signed with Ahava,” the Jerusalem Post quoted a manager for Oxfam’s ambassador program as saying in a letter, reported on August 6 in the New York Post.
“Oxfam remains opposed to settlement trade, in which Ahava is engaged,” the manager had stated.
But a spokesman for Oxfam has said that ties with Davis had not been permanently severed. He said Oxfam had no short-term projects in the pipeline for her.
“We just don’t want this to be a distraction,” he said.
Organizers of a grassroots women’s peace group, CODEPINK, speculated that the Israeli cosmetics company recruited Davis precisely because of her ties to Oxfam.
“Ahava, in hiring Kristin Davis, was hiring her for her fresh-faced look, her connection to ‘Sex and the City’, and the fact that she’s a do-gooder,” Nancy Kricorian, the coordinator of CODEPINK’s new “Stolen Beauty” campaign against Ahava, said.
“It’s a way of burnishing their image,” she stated.
She said CODEPINK attended a New York City publicity event with Davis in June, where they handed her a letter outlining their concerns about Ahava.
“Kristin is passionate about her relationship with Oxfam, and she intends to work with them and other humanitarian causes for years to come,” a spokeswoman for the actress told the New York Post

Singer Rihanna is set to perform in public for the first time since she was assaulted by Chris Brown.
The ”Umbrella” singer will appear on the ”The Jay Leno Show” on September 14 alongside hip-hop stars Kanye West and Jay-Z.
The trio are expected to perform their new single ”Run This Town”, reports Contactmusic.
It is said that Tom Cruise is also in negotiations to appear on the programme.
The 21-year-old singer has kept a low-profile since she was assaulted by her then-boyfriend Chris Brown in February.
Brown was pleaded guilty to the attack and was sentenced to five years” probation, 180 days of community service and ordered to attend an anti-domestic violence programme.
He has also been banned from going within 50 yards of Rihanna.
However, Rihanna recently announced she wants Brown’s court order downgraded to a level-one protective restraining order.
“That order would prevent Chris from annoying, molesting or harassing her. That level-one order would fully protect her,” said her lawyer Donald Etra said.
“The order in effect now is a stay-away order preventing them from coming within 50 yards of each other.
“But Rihanna’’s position from the beginning is that there was no need for that level of protective order,” she added.

Jordan was said to have jokingly asked her Brazilian chauffeur for a threesome while teasing her new boyfriend Alex Reid.
The glamour girl, who parted ways with estranged husband Peter Andre in May, reportedly flirted with the driver, called Saul, leaving Reid fuming during the couple’s Spanish holiday.

Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland have been named the top-earning actors on the small screen in the U.S.
According to a new TV Guide magazine Who Makes What, Sheen rakes in 825,000 dollars per episode of his sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’, reports Contactmusic.
Sutherland leads the drama list, pocketing 550,000 dollars for every outing as Jack Bauer on ‘24’.
He’’s followed by Hugh Laurie of ‘House’ and ‘Law & Order: SVU’ duo Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni, who each pick up cheques for 400,000 dollars per episode.

Shakira believes that women have an “animalistic urge” that goes beyond sex.

When Brit actress Helen Mirren’s husband, Taylor Hackford, first saw her dressed up as British monarch Queen Elizabeth II in a movie role, he was so shocked that he burst out laughing.
Mirren, 64, had even won an Oscar for her portrayal of the royal in 2006 movie ‘The Queen’, but her husband had never seen her in the costume that gave her the monarch’s looks until he watched the film’s premiere.
Hackford, 64, was so surprised by his wife’s transformation that he ended up laughing during the screening, much to the embarrassment of Mirren.
“Taking on the role of the Queen in Stephen Frears’ film was an incredibly difficult decision for her. I hadn’t visited her on-set, and hadn’t seen her in the role until the premiere at the Venice film festival,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
“The first image on the screen was the Queen sitting for a portrait, and she’s dressed in all her queenly drag.
“I was surprised and shocked. I just broke out laughing – and I have a very large laugh. She was saying, ‘Shhh! Stop it!’” he added.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were left terrified after their private plane was forced to make an emergency landing due to overheated engine.
While writing on his Twitter page, the 31-year-old actor said that he’s “happy to be alive”.
“My plane just had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. Fire engines everywhere good times. happy to be alive. (sic)” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Demi also took to the social networking site after the incident and said, “Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing and all (sic).”
Ashton and Demi were on their way to New York following the premiere of ”Spread” – a comedy about a womaniser and his unhappy lover – in Las Vegas.

Brit rapper Dizzee Rascal, real name Dylan Kwabena Mills, has revealed that he threatened to punch Prince Harry in the face after his performance at Hyde Park’s Wireless Festival.
Rascal, 23, said that the incident took place after the Prince and his three friends made their entrance while performing boxing moves, and giving “street handshakes” on their way to meet the performer.
“I never saw that one coming,” the Telegraph quoted Rascal as saying.
“Then Prince Harry came in and was joking around and being a bit cheeky, so I told him, ‘If you weren’t royalty I would’ve punched you in the face by now,’ and he seemed to like that,” he added.
According to the singer, Prince Harry fit in well backstage because he is a “naughty boy”, and he thinks the Prince and his friends are “probably a bit wilder” than his own crowd.
Rascal will release his new single ‘Holiday’ on August 31.

Bethesda Softworks previously announced that their next DLC expansion for their hit RPG Fallout 3 would be titled Mothership Zeta. Today the company released more info about the mini-expansion and as you might guess it’s all about aliens coming to probe your character’s . . . er, body. The expansion will be made available for download on August 3 via Games for Windows Live for 800 Microsoft points (about $10).
The storyline has your character finding a crashed alien spaceship in the Capitol Wastelands. The problem is that the aliens are still around and beam you to their orbiting mothership. Your goal is to explore the ship, get to the bridge, and escape. Of course the aliens and their robot drones have other plans. New weapons like the Alien Atomizer, the Alien Disintegrator and the Drone Cannon will be used along with new outfits and of course new enemies. Mothership Zeta is the last of the downloadable expansions that Bethesda Softworks has announced for Fallout 3 but there’s every possibility that more could be in the works.
